Q. What are the operating systems that ASTROS App supports?

ASTROS App supports Windows 10+, macOS 10.13+, and Android OS 8.1+.
Please go to https://www.astrogate.com/download/ to download Windows / macOS App or go to Google Play to download Android App.

Q. How many connections can ASTROS Station support?

AS-201 can support up to 20 simultaneous connections, and 4 contents shared on screen at the same time.
AS-101 can support up to 8 simultaneous connections, and 2 contents shared on screen at the same time.

Q. Why can’t I find the ASTROS Station I’m looking for on my ASTROS App?

Please make sure that your device on which the ASTROS App is running, is in the same local area network as the ASTROS Station. If the Station still doesn’t appear, try to enter Station’s IP address (which can be found on the room display) in the search box above the Station list, and click connect.

Q. Why does using the Remote View feature decrease my screen sharing framerate?

On some computers, power saving mode is enabled by default, which slows down the screen sharing framerate. If this issue occurs, you could switch your power setting to general or high-performance mode.

Q. Why there’s no sound when screen sharing with Windows ASTROS App?

  1. Check the mute button on your ASTROS App; make sure it is “unmute”
  2. If it is currently “unmute” and you still got no sound, check your Windows system volume; make sure the volume level is not too low for you to hear
  3. If the above don’t work, consider update your Windows audio driver

Q. Why I need to unmute my computer, then I can use ASTROS Windows App to share the sound?

Some computers which are embedded with AMD CPU or Conexant ISST Audio driver would have this issue. You need to synchronize the volume setting of Windows App and your computer. They need to be mute or unmute at the same time.

Q. What’s the difference between Windows ASTROS App install and install-free version?

If you install ASTROS Windows App, it will connect the Quick Join files (.aqj file) and help you with OTA updates.

Q. Why can’t I share the sound when using ASTROS macOS App?

You need to install BlackHole audio driver with mac OS to share the sound. When you install ASTROS macOS App, please follow the instruction to install the driver and give the access right to ASTROS App in your macOS setting.

Q. Why does my MacBook have no sound output after using ASTROS macOS App?
