AS-201 can support up to 20 simultaneous connections, and 4 contents shared on screen at the same time.

Q. Why can’t I find the ASTROS Station I’m looking for on my ASTROS App?
Please make sure that your device on which the ASTROS App is running, is in the same local area network as the ASTROS Station. If the Station still doesn’t appear, try to enter Station’s IP address (which can be found on the room display) in the search box above the Station list, and click connect.
Q. Why does using the Remote View feature decrease my screen sharing framerate?
On some computers, power saving mode is enabled by default, which slows down the screen sharing framerate. If this issue occurs, you could switch your power setting to general or high-performance mode.
Q. Why there’s no sound when screen sharing with Windows ASTROS App?
- Check the mute button on your ASTROS App; make sure it is “unmute”
- If it is currently “unmute” and you still got no sound, check your Windows system volume; make sure the volume level is not too low for you to hear
- If the above don’t work, consider update your Windows audio driver
Q. Why I need to unmute my computer, then I can use ASTROS Windows App to share the sound?
Some computers which are embedded with AMD CPU or Conexant ISST Audio driver would have this issue. You need to synchronize the volume setting of Windows App and your computer. They need to be mute or unmute at the same time.
Q. What’s the difference between Windows ASTROS App install and install-free version?
If you install ASTROS Windows App, it will connect the Quick Join files (.aqj file) and help you with OTA updates.
Q. Why can’t I share the sound when using ASTROS macOS App?
You need to install BlackHole audio driver with mac OS to share the sound. When you install ASTROS macOS App, please follow the instruction to install the driver and give the access right to ASTROS App in your macOS setting.
Q. Why does my MacBook have no sound output after using ASTROS macOS App?
When you use or stop ASTROS macOS App, it will automatically switch the sound output from the computer or BlackHole. If the switch is not successful and there is no sound output, please go to the volume settings and set the sound output device from BlackHole to computer speakers.
Q. Why can users do the content mirroring with Airplay without entering the login code while it’s enabled?
When the login code is enabled, users must enter the login code to start content mirroring with AirPlay for the first time. But AirPlay would memorize the code for a short time. If the moderator doesn’t change the login code, the users can start content mirroring without entering the code.
Q. Why can’t I enable the mirroring output when I click the AirPlay icon on YouTube with macOS?
It’s suggested to use AirPlay to connect to ASTROS Station then play YouTube videos with macOS.
Q. Why I fail the mirroring output with AirPlay, when I play videos on QuickTime with macOS?
ASTROS Station doesn’t support AirPlay digital rights management; it’s suggested to use ASTROS macOS App to do the mirroring output.
Q. Does ASTROS Station support AirPlay streaming?
ASTROS Station supports AirPlay streaming in full-screen, exclusive mode.
Q. Can I adjust the volume when using AirPlay to play videos?
When playing the video in Camera Roll, you can adjust the volume or even mute, but the volume change isn’t obvious. If a noticeable change in volume is required, adjust the volume of the display device. When you play YouTube videos, you cannot adjust the volume, please adjust the volume of the display device.
Q. Which devices does ASTROS Station support the Google Cast mirroring output function?
ASTROS Station supports the mirroring output for Chromebook, Chrome browser and Android devices. But it doesn’t support Google Home App.
Q. Why the mirroring quality of Google Cast seems to be unstable?
The mirroring function developed by WebRTC such as Google Cast cannot automatically adjust the resolution. If the network is smooth and the performance of the device is average, the resolution will be better.
Q. How to connect ASTROS Station with Android devices ’Google Cast?
There’s the Cast feature on Android devices’ drop-down application menu. Click to start searching for ASTROS Station, when you find ASTROS Station, you can connect to it. Some Android device vendors will rename the feature, for example, Samsung calls this feature SmartView.
Q. Why can’t Google Cast find ASTROS Station?
Please go to the ASTROS Station setting, make sure the date and time are set correctly, and then use Google Cast to search again

Microsoft Edge version 88 and above and Google Chrome version 79 and above support browser mirroring. You don’t need to install plug-ins.
